John Paton started Twisted Arc, LLC in Apex, NC, after years of hands-on experience in excavation, grading, welding, and managing large-scale site projects. Our journey began when our founder became the first employee at a previous excavation business, eventually working up to project manager.
During that time, he learned how important proper planning, careful grading, and reliable drainage work are for homeowners and small commercial clients. In 2017, John took that knowledge and created a service that puts attention to detail and customer care at the forefront of everything we do.
With over 10 years of experience, we have seen how many newly built neighborhoods struggle with poor grading. Families often move in only to discover water pooling, muddy yards, or steep areas with little usable space.
Our mission is to fix those issues so homeowners can enjoy the property they invested in. We specialize in shaping land the right way, improving drainage, clearing overgrowth, and removing structures safely, all while keeping the client’s goals in mind.
